Block Island Wedding Accommodations

"I was married on Block Island in August of 2007. Early on in the wedding planning process, I contacted Caren Kempf about the possibility of renting The Jane Marie Cottage for my husband’s family. Caren went to great lengths to make sure the property was available for their use.

My husband’s family, who traveled from the Midwest and had never been to Block Island, were thrilled when they arrived at The JMC Cottage. The property was beautiful and it was the perfect location for them to relax, entertain, and enjoy each other’s company. They also loved the close proximity to town and The Inn at Block Island where many of their friends stayed.

On the day preceding, and the night of our wedding, The Inn at Block Island was filled with our wedding guests, who also enjoyed their stay. The staff at The Inn at Block Island was friendly and attentive to our guests’ needs. They enjoyed the clean, updated rooms and the delicious breakfast.

Caren Kempf was very helpful to me throughout the wedding planning process and I am sure that she will be an asset to future Block Island brides."

With seven bedrooms that can comfortably accommodate up to 18 people, the Jane Marie Cottage is the perfect place for the family of the bride or groom to stay while attending that special Block Island wedding. Guest accommodations for the family include a spacious open floor plan, two large decks and a gourmet kitchen with granite countertops and plenty of room for family meals.

The Inn at Block Island offers nine guest rooms and a cottage. All the rooms offer private baths and many have ocean views. The Barrington Inn offers six guest rooms and two private apartments with private baths and decks. The views of New Harbor are spectacular from the Barrington Inn!
