Block Island Activities
Block Island is a vacation paradise just twelve miles off the coast of Southern Rhode Island. Close to the mainland, but a world away from everyday life!The island offers a wide variety of outdoor activities including hiking, biking, tennis, fishing, wildlife viewing, bird watching, horseback riding, swimming, snorkeling and diving, boating, sailing, surfing, windsurfing, parasailing, jet skiing and shell fishing. With all these activities to choose from, don’t forget to just find a beach chair or towel and relax on one of many wonderful Block Island beaches. This is what life is all about!

Summer special events on Block Island include Race Week in June, Arts and Craft fairs, concerts, book fairs, the Mary D Fundraiser and our traditional Fourth of July Parade.
