Block Island Bed and Breakfasts
The Jane Marie Cottage was named in memory of the late Jane Marie Kempf, daughter of John and Arline Kempf of Ormond Beach, Florida and sister of John Kempf and Nancy Hines of Connecticut, She enjoyed visiting Block Island for many years with her family as a child and then in later years with her brother John, While visiting Block Island, she stayed at the Hardy Smith House on High Street. Jane was a very special part of our family and is greatly missed.
The Jane Marie Cottage is a seven bedroom home tucked away in quiet setting off Old Town Road. It can comfortably accommodate up to eighteen people. It is perfect for a family in town for that special Block Island wedding or family gathering. The cottage is rented by the week during the summer months from June to September and by the night September to May. Its open floor plan is graciously appointed with comfortable furniture and bedding. It features a gourmet kitchen with granite counter tops and ample appliances to handle a large gathering. The two 30 foot decks provide a wonderful area to enjoy the Block Island breeze and view of the town and Old Harbor area. The house is two blocks from town, Crescent beach, shops and ferry. This is a pet free and smoke free home.
Amenities:
The Jane Marie Cottage is equipped with air conditioning, two refrigerators, beverage cooler, two dishwashers, gourmet stove, outside shower, large gas grill, garbage pickup, hairdryers, satellite TV and wireless internet, pillows and blankets. Sheets and towels are available upon request for an additional fee. Security deposit and cleaning fees apply.

- $700 - $1,200 per night September - May
- $8,500.00 per week June, July & August

The Inn at Block Island and The Barrington Inn are open from May - October and are available for nightly or extended stays.
The Jane Marie Cottage is open year round and is available by the week (Monday to Monday) June 1 - Labor Day and by the night from Labor Day - May 31 - 2 night reservation required; Holidays require 3-4 night reservation
